Kids' Time
When?
Service for children from pre-school through 6th Grade meets during the Worship Service from September through May of each year.
More Than Childcare
Kids' Time is more than childcare, providing spiritual growth for children of all ages from preschool through high school.
What?
Children are dismissed to the classrooms downstairs to engage in a ministry filled with music, crafts, and lessons. Kids' Time provides an in-depth look into God’s Word in a way the youth can understand.
Why?
Our passion is serving children and helping them to grow in relationships with God and others.
Praise Team
Our Praise Team meets every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM to rehearse for the Sunday morning service. We focus on Contemporary Christian music, so if you enjoy listening to music on stations like Joy99 or WCSG, you would enjoy worshipping with us every week. Women's Gathering
Women’s Gathering meets weekly on Thursdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm. At 10:00am we gather for an hour of fellowship and coffee/tea (and sometimes, treats) while some of us knit and/or crochet or do other handwork. We work on our inventory for our Prayer Shawl Ministry, as well as personal projects. Prayer Shawl is an outreach ministry of Women’s Gathering. A shawl or lap robe, knitted or crocheted, is given to those of our church family/friends who are ill, hospitalized, grieving, or in need of comfort. We pray over the shawl for the one to whom it is being gifted.
At 11:00am, we turn to Bible Study. Throughout the year, we choose Old or New Testament studies or follow a guideline of study by Christian authors. We would be blessed by your joining us and pray you would be blessed by attending.
Prayer Team
The Prayer Team meets every other Tuesday evening at the church from 7:00-8:00 pm. All are welcome to attend. In addition to our meetings, we also have a prayer email chain for emergency prayer requests, and three visitation teams for in-person prayers in homes, assisted living facilities, hospice and hospitals. We also have prayer request cards in the Sanctuary and fellowship hall for anyone in need of prayer. Completed cards can be placed in the offering plate in the back of the Sanctuary. There is also a Prayer Room located just off the Sanctuary in the Southwest corner. It is available for anyone to use for quiet reflection and/or personal prayer.

Men's Evening Study
Men's Evening Study meets every Wednesday night at 6:00pm at Byron Center United Methodist Church. Come join us for quality studying of the Word and fellowship! Men's group is paused for the summer.
