Pastor Jim Walker
Pastor
Pastor Jim Walker is currently serving at Byron Center UMC. He is married to Susan Walker and has two daughters, Hannah and Tiffany. He had a third daughter, Moriah, who passed away at age 14. He graduated from Lansing Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Geography and went on to Michigan State University where he graduated with a BA in Geography and African Studies. Pastor Jim received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has previously served the Michigan United Methodist Church in Lansing, Brown City, Utica, Wyandotte, and Belleville. We are thrilled to have him with us!
Deb Biesbrock
Administrative Assistant
Deb serves in the office in the role of Administrative Assistant.

Jessica Steffes
Website Designer
Jessica is in charge of Web Design. She works full time as a Physical Therapy Clinic Director and works on our church website on a volunteer, as-needed basis. Jessica enjoys singing with the Praise Team and loves practicing Holy Yoga at our church.

Stephanie VanderGalien
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Stephanie volunteers as our Children's Ministry Coordinator and oversees Kids' Time and the Back-to-School Drive. She also coordinates the Christmas Tree sales program during the holidays.
We are grateful to have Stephanie working on these programs that have been so successful!
Kurt Steffes
Praise Team Leader
Kurt volunteers as our Praise Team Leader and Music Director. Kurt plays numerous instruments and creates the tracks that we sing to each Sunday. We are blessed to have such a talented leader for music each week!
